APRESIASI SENI TERHADAP FASHION DI INDONESIA
Abstract: Fashion spread in
the world from east to west and north to south, changed annually on season and
become a new color for human life from time after time. But unfortunately
fashion progress in Indonesia was less colorful and still regarded as quite a
new thing compared to neighbor countries. The purpose of this paper was to find
out how Indonesian people viewed fashion and determinedabout fashion
appreciation in Indonesia. The method used was the literature studyby searched
literature sources which relevant to the paper topic. The result found that the
majority of consumers in Indonesia saw fashion as a tool to enhance their
social value rather than as a beautiful thing to use as well as ignored the
aesthetic function of art objects.
