PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DENGAN PERMAINAN BINGO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENCARI TURUNAN DAN INTEGRAL FUNGSI

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve the ability of the students of Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pekalongan in searching of the derivative and the anti-derivative of functions. Thisresearch is a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle, the cooperative learning model of type STAD was used as the strategy in teaching. While in thesecond cycle, the teaching of type STAD was remain in use but coupled with the drill methodin Bingo games. The methods for collecting data are by documentation, observation, test, andquestionnaire. Before the research, the students were tested to know the initial capability of them in searching of the derivative and the anti-derivative of functions. The average score result for this intial test was 22,66. At the end of the first cycle, the students were tested again and the average score became 57,27. Whereas at the end of the second cycle, the score became80,75. These results indicates that the application of cooperative learning model of type STAD is effective to improve the ability of the students in differentiating and integrating functions.
