PENENTUAN LAJU PENURUNAN KADAR AIR RENGGINANG UBI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KOLEKTOR PLAT DATAR BERENERGI BIOMASSA LIMBAH KAYU AKASIA

Abstract: Set the rate water contents with acacia wood as biomass energy has been done. The desiccationby a room collector have a measurement of 150 cm x 100 cm x 112 cm, eqquiped withsmokestack, rattan rack and drum as spot heat energy source. Inside room wall-plate from zincpainted black paint and patched with sawn timber. Biomass has variated 3 kg, 6 kg and 9 kg. Thecrisp cracker made of glutinous rice is used about 20 grams until 28 grams. Temperature of roomcollector are dealt with limit of temperature ranging from 45ºC until 65ºC. Desiccation has beendone 100 minutes with interval observation 10 minutes. Research to do with comparing massbefore desiccation and after that when already 10 minutes. Dessication result is decreasing masswith biomass 3 Kg both of shelf are 7,43 gram dan 8,12 gram. Biomass 6 kg both of shelf are9,32 gram and 10,55 gram. Biomass 9 kg both of shelf are 9,95 gram dan 10,49 gram.Decreasing of water contents are 33,14% and 36,71% for biomass 3 kg. Biomass 6 kg both ofshelf are 35,47% and 39,02%. Biomass 9 kg both of shelf are 35,24% and 39,66%. Mass ofbiomass effect has seen towards decreasing of water contents between mass 3 kg as compared tomass 6 kg and 9 kg. Dessication with acacia as biomass successful increase decreasing of watercontents of the crisp cracker made of glutinous rice.
