PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MELATIHKAN KARAKTER SISWA KELAS VIII PADA MATERI LENSA DI SMP N 1 LAMONGAN
Abstract: The background of
this research was created when it found many children who have intelligence,
but their behavior does not reflect a good personality yet. This has become a
new problem in the world of education, especially in preparing the students who
have a full personality that is the students who have character. Therefore,
this study aimed to create a learning tools that can train the attitude of
honesty and affection which are then applied to the title of The Development of
Learning Tools to Train the Character of Eighth Graders on the Material of Lens
at SMPN 1 Lamongan. This research was the kind of a learning tools development
oriented towards the students’ honesty and affection. The implementation of the
research was to develop a preliminary design learning tools, the learning
device study by experts (professors) and practitioners (junior high school
physics teacher), and the trial was limited to the students in SMPN 1 Lamongan.
Based on the results of the feasibility analysis of alearning tool for students
to train the students’ characteon on the lens material indicates that the
learning tools that have been developed have been fit for use with either
category. As for learning management, analysis showed that in general the
teacher has to manage the learning quite well. The conclusion was the learning
tools to train the students’ character for students in SMP N 1 Lamongan fit for
use.
