PENGEMBANGAN SENSOR MAGNETIK MAGNETORESISTIF (MR) UNTUK APLIKASI KOMPAS ELEKTRONIK

Abstract: Today the much needed electronic equipment that can enable people to perform the activity. Making thecompass using the magnetic field sensor is a sensor HMC5883L. The tool has been tested and calibratedusing a standard calibrator magnetic field that is Teslameter FH51. In determining the direction the sensoris connected to the Arduino Uno HMC5883L which is connected to a PC by running softwareapplications based on Visual C ++. HMC5883L sensors rely magnetoresistif effect with linearitysensitivity to measure weak magnetic field of the earth. HMC5883L a field sensor element which isequipped with a set / reset and compensation coils are integrated. In addition to the sensor element, signalconditioning unit and a unit determining the direction is also necessary to establish an electronic compass.The main function of the unit is a signal conditioning and amplification of the sensor signal offsetcompensation. Both compensation techniques can be implemented only by controlling an integrated set /reset and compensation coils are HMC5883L. Calibration technique is also associated with the disorder,declination and inclination shown. Will eventually produce a complete compass system.
