PENGUKURAN SPEKTRUM SUARA MANUSIA LANSIA BERDASARKAN JENIS KELAMIN DAN SUKU MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE PRAAT
Abstract: Research on analysis
of spectrum of elderly human voice based on gender and ethnic by usingsoftware
praat has been carred out. The samples of the spectrum in this research are
Batak,Javanese, Malay, Minang, Sunda and Sakai ethnic. The recording of the
human voice used amicrophone and laptop (computer) equipped with a software
called “praat”. Sample of elderlyhuman (60-70 years) voice was recorded for two
men and two women from the above ethnics.In this research, it was used one
pieces of said “Joko Widodo adalah presiden Indonesia yang ketujuh”, which said
three times by each sample. The results of the research show that voicespectrum
of the samples of men and women from the above ethnics have
differentcharacteristic. The men and women from Batak and Javanesse ethnic has
the highestfundamental frequency for all samples, that is 158 Hz and 221 Hz
respectively. The lowestfrequency is 98 Hz and 160 Hz from Minang and Sunda ethnic
respectively. In general, thevalue of fundamental frequency for men and women
decreases as the age increases, soundproducing organs and conditions sample.
The value of formant is affected by the age of thesample. The value of the
formant decreases as the age of the samples increases, however, in thisresearch
some values of formant increase. This increase was suspected due to the change
ofdistance between sample’s mouth to the microphone.
