SISTEM PAKAR DIAGNOSA PENYAKIT TANAMAN PADI BERBASIS WEB DENGAN FORWARD DAN BACKWARD CHAINING
Abstract: Rice plants can be
attacked by various kinds of diseases which are possible to be determined from
their symptoms. However, it is to recognize that to find out the exact type of
disease, an agricultural expert’s opinion is needed, meanwhile the numbers of
agricultural experts are limited and there are too many problems to be solved
at the same time. This makes a system with a capability as an expert is
required. This system must contain the knowledge of the diseases and symptom of
rice plants as an agricultural expert has to have. This research designs a web-based expert
system using rule-based reasoning. The
rule are modified from the method of forward chaining inference and backward
chaining in order to to help farmers in the rice plant disease diagnosis. The
web-based rice plants disease diagnosis expert system has the advantages to
access and use easily. With web-based features inside, it is expected that the
farmer can accesse the expert system everywhere to overcome the problem to
diagnose rice diseases.
