Dampak Terapi Sitikolin, Sosiodemografi dan Komorbiditas Terhadap Nilai GCS Pasien Stroke di RSUP dr. M. Djamil Padang
ABSTRACT: Assessment level of
consciousness is an important part of clinical neurologic assessment in
handling stroke, decrease in consciousness may aggravate prognosis and one of
the mortality factors in stroke patients. This study examined the impact of
citicoline, sociodemographic characteristics (gender, age, and occupation), and
comorbidity on Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) in stroke patients. Total amount of 82
stroke patients were participated in this study. Between all sociodemographic
factors only age and occupation significantly affected GCS (p<0.05). There
was no significant impact between dose of citicoline and comorbidity to GCS
(p>0,1). We found a significant impact of interaction among type of stroke,
dose of citicoline, recurrent stroke, and comorbidity, on GCS (p<0.05). This
indicates that there are several factors contributing to the score GCS in this
research.
