Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Diet Dengan Kepatuhan Diet Penderita Hipertensi di Puskesmas Padang Bulan
ABSTRACT: Hypertension or
known as high blood disease or a condition where a person’s blood pressure is
above the normal limit. The purpose of this study was to determine the
relationship level of knowledge about diet with compliance diet of hypertensive
patients. This research uses explanatory research method with cross sectional
approach. The location of the research was conducted at public health center
padang bulan Medan in July 2017. Samples
were taken as many as 100 respondents using total sampling. Data collection
tools in this study using questionnaires. Data analysis using frequency distribution
and chi-square. Pursuant to result of research indicate that level of knowledge
of respondent about hypertension diet in Padang BulanPuskesmas including good
category counted 98 responden (98%) while category less good counted 2
respondent (2%). Based on chi-square obtained p-value of 0.0001 (p<0.05) so
that there is a correlation between the level of knowledge about diet with
dietary compliance of hypertensive patients in public healt center Padang Bulan
Medan. From the results of research that has been done, there is a correlation
between the level of knowledge about diet and the compliance of diet of
hypertensive patients in Public health center
Padang Bulan Medan.
