Pembuatan Film Balutan Primer Untuk Luka Bakar yang Mengandung Kolagen Kulit Ikan Gabus (Channa striata)
ABSTRACT: Collagen from
snakehead fish skin (Channa striata) wound dressing is able to maintain the
moisture balance around the wound. Known as modern dressing method, collagen
wound dressing is able to accelerate fibrinolysis, fasten angiogenesis,
decrease the infection risk, quicken the growth factor creation, and active
cell generation. Collagen has an important function in wound healing process
because collagen has the ability to hemostatis, interaction with thrombocyte,
interaction with fibronectine and increase liquid exudation, improve cellular
component, increase growth factor and boost fibroplasia process. Collagen film
isolated from snakehead fish (Channa striata) 1%, with additional material such
as PVA 4%, propilenglikol 5 %, Gliserin 10% and preservatives nipagin and
nipasol. All in all, the collagen characterization result is corresponded to
the literature,but it needs improvement for how to dry film, because film
contains collagen which can’t be dry at temperatures above 40oC, because it
will change the collagen to gelatin.
