Penetapan Kadar Tanin pada Teh Celup yang Beredar di Pasaran secara Spektrofotometri Ultraviolet- Sinar Tampak
ABSTRACT: Determination of
tannin content in tea bags at the marketplace by using ultraviolet visible
spectrophotometry has been done. The
sample were tea bags with brand A, B, C, D, E and pure tea. The experiment
method for simplisia extraction were maceration. Catechins were used as
comparison. Quantitative analysis by spectrophotometer obtained maximum
wavelength of catechin 222,00 nm. Catechin standard curve was y = 0.04943x +
0.06692, the value of r = 0.9995. The results showed that tannin content in tea
bag with brand A (0,0092065%), B (0,0091054%), C (0,0086400%), D (0,0076690%),
E (0,0118769%) and pure tea (0,0120995%). Statistical analysis showed that
significant difference between all brands with pure tea and significant
differences between each brand.
