PENGARUH DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, LIKUIDITAS DAN INFLASI TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTAMBANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2011-2015
Abstract: Every general company
has a goal to maximizing shareholder prosperity by increasing its
profitability. This study aims to examine the effect of debt to equity ratio,
firm size, liquidity and inflation on corporate profitability. Profitability is
proxied with Return On Asset. The population were used in this study is a
mining sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange there are 43
companies. The sampling method used was purposive sampling which resulted 19
samples of the company. Data analysis in this study using multiple linear
regression tool. The results showed that the variable debt to equity ratio
negatively affect the profitability of the company. While for variable firm
size, liquidity and inflation do not affect to profitability. The
recommendations obtained from the results of this study is in achieving the
level of profitability of the company is not only influenced by the factors
thatmade the variables in this study. The existence of new regulations issued
by the government can also affect the levelof profitability of the company. For
investors it is expected to consider other factors outside this research
variable that can explain the company's performance maximally.
