PENGARUH HAMBATAN KARIR TERHADAP KESUKSESAN KARIR DENGAN LOCUS OF CONTROL SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERATOR PADA PT.PLN (PERSERO) UNIT INDUK PEMBANGUNAN VII SURABAYA
Abstract: Career success is
defined as the psychological or work-related outcomes, personal achievements
and individual professionals that have been gathered from their work
experience. The purpose of this study is to determine theeffect of career
barriers to career success with the locus of control as a moderator variable on
employees of PT.PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VII Surabaya. Sample used
in this study amounted to 70 employees at the office area of Surabaya, obtained
by using saturated sampling method. This research uses quantitative approachobtained
by observation, interview and spread questioner. PLS analysis method is the
analysis used in this study.The results of this study indicate that career
barriers affect the employee's career success, while the locus of control as a
moderator variable career barriers to career success has no effect on PT. PLN
(Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VII Surabaya. Therefore companies need to
develop employee career success because then the company will be able to
improve the career of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VII Surabaya.
