PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN STRES KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI PADA AJB BUMIPUTERA 1912 KANTOR WILAYAH SURABAYA
Abstract: In this era of competence,
every company must be able to develop and improve the company in various ways
compiled in the program to improve employee performance. The purpose of this
study is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance
with mediated by job stress on AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surabaya area office. The
sample used in this study amounted to 36 employees at the Surabaya regional
office was obtained by using non-probability sampling. This study uses a
quantitative approach obtained by way of observation, interview and spread
questionnaires. Partial least square analysis method is the analyst used in this study. The
results of this study indicate job satisfaction has a positive but not
significant effect on employee performance in AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surabaya area
office which means if high job satisfaction then performance is also high but
not necessarily vice versa. While work stress has a positive and significant
effect on employee performance which means the lower level of employee stress the
higher the employee performance vice versa. And also work stress doesn’t moderate the effect of job satisfaction on
employee performance at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surabaya area office. Therefore in
the absence of work stress is not a problem for employees. Therefore, companies
need to increase employee incentives because with high satisfaction especially
on salary or wages improve employee performance at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surabaya
area office. For the next researcher, the research is done in SOEs related to
job satisfaction and job stress.
