Pengaruh Keselamatan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Lingkungan Kerja (Studi Pada Divisi Industri PT. Barata Indonesia Gresik)
Abstract: Modern-day aspects
of this occupational safety is important in creating job security. Safety is a
common requirement, especially employees in the production. PT. Barata
Indonesia is a company engaged in the SOE maintenance that produces heavy
equipment. The purpose of this study was to analysis influence workplace safety
to the environment and its impact on performance.
The approach used in this study are a quantitative approach, with a
population of as many as 466 employees. A sampling technique that is proportionate
stratified random sampling, so that the sample used as many as 48 employees.
Technical analysis of the data used is Partial Least Square (PLS).
Based on the results of the research show that the variables of
occupational safety significantly influence employee performance, safety effect
on the work environment, work environment influence but not significant to the
performance, and there is no influence of the work environment as intervening
variables between safety and performance of employees of PT. Barata Indonesia.
