Perbedaan Kadar Glukosa Darah Puasa Sebelum dan Sesudah Konsumsi Gula Jagung Tahun 2016
ABSTRACT: Corn sugar
(fructose) has a lower number of calories than regular sugar (sucrose).
consumption of fructose in high amounts for 7 days has been able to trigger the
occurrence of dyslipidemia, fat deposition in the liver and reduce insulin
sensitivity in healthy humans with or without family history of Diabetes
Mellitus patients.Objectives: This study aims to know the differences fasting
blood sugar levels before and after consumption of corn sugar 2016. Method:
This study uses total sampling. The samples were 41 respondents. Test blood
sugar levels were analyzed with a glucometer. Data analysis using descriptive
statistics to look at the frequency distribution of each variable and dependent
using t-test to see differences in blood sugar levels before and after
consumption of corn sugar with p <0.05 as the limit of significance. Result:
The statistical results average blood sugar level before corn sugar consumption
is lower than in blood sugar levels after consumption of corn sugar (74.04 mg /
dL and 81,41mg / dL).Conclusion: There is a difference in fasting blood sugar
levels before and after consumption of corn sugar in 2016.
